Festival Too has been a cornerstone of West Norfolk’s summer events since 1985. Created by a group of local business representatives, the aim was simple: bring a vibrant, contemporary, free music festival to King’s Lynn that would complement the long‑running, classical King’s Lynn Festival. The very first event launched with a modest £5,000 budget
Today, Festival Too has grown into one of the biggest free music festivals the UK, attracting thousands of visitors each year. The annual budget now reaches around £260,000, made possible through generous support from local companies, private donors, national organisations, and the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk.
The Festival Too committee also extends sincere thanks to everyone who contributes to the collection buckets during event nights. Every donation helps keep Festival Too free and accessible for the whole community.I
