Jimmy Rockit

JIMMY ROCKIT are a four piece indie guitar band based in King's Lynn, Norfolk. Brothers, Zach Stanford (lead guitar) Harrison Stanford (bass and lead vocals) Frazer Stanford (drums) and cousin Bradley Carr (rhythm guitar) They have played together since September 2007 and carried out numerous functions since then, from wedding receptions, charity balls, birthdays and pub gigs to getting the sons of Lord Greville Howard dancing at their local! Highlights include winning the Prince's Trust battle of the bands competition and opening the Community Oscars celebration at the King's Lynn Corn Exchange in front of 800 people, supporting Wilko Johnson at the King's Lynn Arts Centre and travelling to Sunderland and Skipton. They have also enjoyed playing the Snettfest music festival and Lifestyles Extreme watersports event during 2009. In February 2010, they performed in front of 1,500 teachers at the pre-gala dinner for sports colleges across the UK at Telford's conference centre. JIMMY ROCKIT have written 5 of their own songs and recorded 4 of them, "Certain Things" "Dreaming" "6 O'Clock News" and "13 Goin' on 21".
